Our Story
For years, the global trade floor has been an exclusive club. You had to be at the right trade show, speak the right language, and know the right people. For independent artisans and small-batch makers, this meant staying invisible to the boutique buyers who would love their work.
We founded LinkFlux to change that. Our mission was simple: create a digital marketplace where the quality of the product, not the size of the company, determines success. We wanted to strip away the barriers of geography and gatekeeping, allowing a ceramicist in Mexico to sell directly to a concept store in Paris without paying a middleman.
Today, LinkFlux is the bridge between independent craft and the retail buyers who value it. We are not just a logistics platform; we are a community built on trust, editorial curation, and the belief that every maker deserves a market.
The Journey
2018 — The Kitchen Table
The idea was born in a small apartment in London. Co-founders Sarah Jenkins and David Chen sketched the first wireframes over dinner, frustrated by the inefficiency of cold-emailing suppliers.
2019 — The Seed Round
We secured our first funding from angel investors who believed in the vision of a curated B2B marketplace. The team doubled in size as we began building the vetting engine.
2020 — Beta Launch
LinkFlux opened its doors to a closed group of 100 suppliers and 50 buyers. Within six months, we processed over £200,000 in GMV, proving the model worked.
2022 — Global Expansion
We expanded beyond Europe to launch in North America and Southeast Asia, adding a dedicated logistics partner network to handle cross-border shipping.
2023 — The Present
We are now facilitating trade across 60 countries with over 4,200 verified suppliers and 18,000 active buyers. We are just getting started.
